Dan and Jane Pierson live in Lakeville, Minnesota. In 1999 after taking a pleasure cruise and meeting a young man in Roatan, Honduras, they were prompted by the Holy Spirit to do more than just visit these beautiful island and countries. They approached Don (Dan’s uncle) and asked if he would consider using a cruise ship as a mission vessel. After trying a ministry cruise once, Don realized the possibilities and the DSM Mission Cruise came to be.

Dan is the owner/operator of a general contracting business. He also serves on several ministry boards and is very active in their local church teaching kids K-5. Jane cares for all of the mission cruise details and travel arrangements. Jane also keeps busy with many volunteer jobs, teaching and loves caring for others. They have two grown sons, two wonderful daughters-in-law and three grandchildren.
